About the Artwork

Print of Annandale Creative Arts Centre (ACAC) (81 Johnston St, Annandale NSW) on Gadigal land. The original illustration uses watercolour, gouache and pen on paper and was created as a gift for Helen's farewell to appreciate her 13 years of service and friendship to ACAC and Newtown Mission.

This artwork is very special to me as ACAC is my 'spiritual artistic birthplace'. It is where I first did 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron, started my artistic journey and met a bunch of amazing creatives that I am now lucky to call my friends.

Print Quality

Fine Art Prints (also known as Giclée Prints) are indistinguishable reproductions of original artworks and will last 100 years if looked after correctly. They are printed with genuine lightfast inks which are fade resistant. I've chosen to print on 240gsm Premium Textured Cotton Rag for its colour reproduction and thickness. It is a 100% cotton, acid-free, archival stock that artists often use to paint original artworks.

Note: To ensure your print lasts 100+ years, only touch and handle your print by the edges, avoid bending and keep away from any direct sunlight, moisture, humidity or dust.

As a graphic designer who has worked in commercial print companies I have very high standards for printing. I went through several rounds of testing with different printers but have found the folks at Few & Far Studio do a fantastic job to make this reproduction look like it is the original watercolour painting.

Art Editions

Prints are paper reproductions of original artworks that have been carefully scanned and adjusted for printing. Many artworks (including prints) can be reproduced in batches or what we call 'editions', which can be limited or open. Limited edition means that only a set number of prints will be produced (e.g. 10) whereas open edition means there will be an unlimited amount.

Artists may choose to produce only one edition or several different types of editions and they may be numbered (e.g. first edition).They may choose the edition type based on demand, cost and how they want their artwork to be perceived.

Shipping

For this first edition print, orders are:

  • available to be shipped Australia-wide for free through Australia Post Parcel Post
  • sent from Meanjin / Brisbane
  • aimed to be shipped within 3-5 days
  • take roughly 2-6 business days for delivery (see Australia Post)
  • shipped with complimentary tracking
  • packaged in extremely strong and secure rigid white cardboard mailers (included in the shipping cost)

Pickup is available by appointment in Meanjin / Brisbane or Gadigal / Sydney. Please contact me to confirm my availability before purchasing.

Returns & Refunds

For this very limited first print run exchanges or refunds are only accepted where:

  • the incorrect item has been sent to you or an item is missing
  • the item arrives damaged or is defective or
  • the item is lost in transit

Unfortunately exchanges or refunds are not available for:

  • change of mind

To process the exchange or refund, please contact me immediately with details and photos of the item (where possible), including the packaging and I'll will rectify this as soon as possible.

The exchange and refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a exchange or full refund.
